OUR ORGANIZATION
The WCU Murray Memorial Scholarship Foundation is designed and modeled for the student who is considered by most scholarship awarding institutions as only “average.”
Our motivation comes primarily from the fact that not all deserving students are academic scholars. As a result, a considerable amount of worthy, deserving, and unprivileged individuals who only wants a chance are overlooked.
We here at the WCU Murray Memorial Scholarship Foundation target this group of individuals. Our hope is that in some small way we can help to ensure that no deserving “average” student is left behind.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to provide needed financial assistance to those students whose GPA is below or above that which would allow them to be awarded financial assistance through scholarships.
We believe that although these individuals are considered by most academic institutions as only “average," they are equally deserving of financial assistance as any other graduating student who wishes to attend a school of higher learning.
